Pedro Pablo Marín, Monterrey N.L. Mexico. He has a degree in Philosophy (Mexico) and a Masters in Latin American Studies from Northeastern Illinois University. Among its highlights are more than 50 interviews with writers, poets, storytellers, filmmakers, musicians and academics. He has collaborated with institutions such as the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, Chicago Book Fair and the Chicago Latino Film Festival. He hosts Xochipilli Radio on 105.5 FM, Chicago. He has organized “Dream Factory: Latin American Film Appreciation” with guest filmmakers from Latin America. Currently preparing his second publication entitled “Hollywood in Chicago: interaction between cinematic storytelling, spectatorship and ethnic stereotypes”. The activity of the bandit before and in the midst of the revolutionary chaos, linked to specific regions and to a desire for collective justice, awakens the need to position them as heroes who alleviate the suffering inflicted by the authorities in power.
