Hello!My name is Kat and I appreciate you taking the time to look at my profile and hopefully my book series, The Asternons. This fantasy series will be a trilogy eventually and the third part is currently under way.I am half Dutch on my mum's side and half English on my dad's side although I was born and raised in the south of England.I believe I started to write this back in either 2004 or 2005 when I was working in a summer school as a teacher of English as a foreign language in Eastbourne, in the south of England. My teaching adventures took me to Asturias, La Rioja and Valencia in Spain for eight years and then finally Hannover in Germany for three years. Although I could not always do it consistently, the need to keep writing was something that never left me. It was the perfect escape for when real life got too upsetting or stressful, I knew I could always retreat to a fantasy world of strange creatures and intriguing characters. So I am currently living in Liverpool and also studying at the Open University but I will always find the time to enjoy this favourite hobby of mine and hopefully share my stories with as many interested people as I can.
