SR (Salvatore Richard) Inciardi was born in New York City and attended Brooklyn College and New York University. He was employed in the health care industry located in New York and in New Jersey for over 35 years. He was instrumental in initiating many health care services while at a large health system in central New Jersey.During this same time, he has been a writer of poetry from his time at Brooklyn College where he was influenced by David Lehman and John Ashbery, both professors of English while he attended the school. He published an initial book of poetry entitled "Coloring Outside the Edges" in the Fall of 2022. A second book of poetry was then published after the sudden and tragic loss of his 37-year-old son, who was married with two young daughters. This book, entitled "The Aroma of Thawing, Poems on Grief and Recovery", was published in an effort to assist others going through the intense and devastating loss of a loved one. Drawing upon the "aroma" theme, he has published another poetry book on grieving, loss, and hope. His most recent release, "The Aroma of Lilac, Poems on Hope and Healing After Loss", first appeared on Amazon in May 2024.SR Inciardi has been married since 1978 and has one married adult child and four grandchildren.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
