You don’t work around the diet it works around you and that can make a huge difference. Of course, non-fasting days can be just as important as fasting days.

For instance, eating high-sugar or processed foods isn’t advisable because it defeats the purpose of the fasting days. It’s important to limit unhealthy elements so that you can see positive results from the 5:2 diet.

That’s why preparing meals from scratch is important because you can remove those unhealthy elements and replace them with healthier ones. Remember, the 5:2 diet could help improve your overall fitness and health, prevent diabetes, or allow you to manage the condition better, and promote healthy weight loss.

Of course, it ultimately comes down to what you eat, how you prepare it, and portion control. Fortunately, the 5:2 diet can help with it all and that’s why it’s so popular.
