Born in Milan in 1974, he grew up as a Blues and Soul guitarist but soon became passionate about the world of Jazz and Brazilian music. After obtaining a degree in music theory and solfeggio from the Licinio Refice Conservatory in Frosinone, he studied with Toni Armetta, Fabio Zeppettella, Alessandro Gwiss, and Giancarlo Capo, dedicating himself to Blues, Funk, and the fusion of Jazz and Brazilian music.With twenty years of teaching experience, he has worked at the Marco Taschler Music School and Anton Rubinstein. Since 2008, he has been teaching modern guitar at the John Coltrane Music School, and he directs the JC Orchestra, a Funk and Rhythm and Blues formation affiliated with the same school. He has conducted many monographic ensemble music courses on The Beatles (Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road), Pino Daniele, 60s’ and 70s’ Psychedelic Rock, Soul, and others. He has also led several seminars on guitar effects.In November 2023, he published a technique manual titled “Technique and Improvisation.”In 2007, he released the album “Tre Sogni” with his original Jazz fusion project “Bloom” for Alpha Music.He has collaborated extensively as a touring musician in the Pop and Soul world, from Max de Angelis and DJ Francesco to Amalia Grè, Charlie Cannon, Orlando Johnson, Tasha Rodriguez, Session Voices, Amazing Grace Gospel Choir, and Marco Liotti, to collaborating as a guitarist and composer with “Randy Roberts and Capital Strokes” from 2014 to 2018.Since 2018, he has begun collaborating in the World Music scene with Valeria Vil, with whom he produced the album “Samsara,” and with “Indaco,” a historic Roman band, where he became guitarist, producer, and arranger for the album “Mediterraneo Express” in 2019. In October 2022, the second album with Indaco, “Due Mondi,” was released for Alpha Music, for which he is the producer, arranger, and co-author, featuring many important musicians from the Folk scene: Enzo Gragnanello, Graziano Galatone, Arnaldo Vacca, Fabio Mancano, and Renato Vecchio.
