Nathan has dedicated his teaching career to researching and understanding the theory of metacognition and its applications to the classroom. He is the author of Inspiring Deep Learning with Metacognition (Sage/Corwin 2023) and Teaching Hacks: Solving Everyday Classroom Issues with Metacognition (Sage/Corwin, 2024).
