Rev. Steven M. Brewer was born in Banner Elk, North Carolina but grew up in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. He has served as a Pastor, Evangelist, Truck Driver, Bluegrass Gospel Musician, Chaplain for the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and a soldier in the United States Army. He has always had a fondness for American History in all time periods.He had many ancestors who served in the War Between the States on both Confederate and Union sides. Like many history buffs, his desire is for true history to be preserved, not only to honor the fallen, but so that history isn’t repeated. Rev. Brewer writes this book as the 1st of a three part series. Rev. Brewer resides in Tyler, Texas with his wife, Stella and they have a daughter and two sons and four granddaughters. They also have a precious adopted family so dear to them. Since retiring from full time work, Rev. Brewer serves as an Evangelist and hosts a weekly online service of music and Word. He and his wife volunteer at their local church on the prayer team, music team, and in the Manna House food bank. His wife Stella is also an author whose books are also available on Amazon.
