Few of the characters in my books are real, although there is a little bit of me in most of them. Take the main character in the book "The Devil, The Ghost, and Will Anderson. He is a sales manager and the husband of an extremely beautiful, sexy and exciting wife. I was for most of my life a sales manager and for over 50 years I have been lucky enough to be the husband of an extremely beautiful, sexy, and exciting wife.Unlike Will Anderson, I never had the opportunity to question the "Prince of Darkness" in person but the questions that Will asked him, I have asked God on many occasions. Of course, no voice came out of space to give me the answers that I sought. But that has not deterred me from believing that there is an Almighty power that created our universe. In both the books "I wish I were a cowboy" and "The cowboy takes a lady" the main character has conversations with someone sent by God as an intermediary. Again, those questions have been asked by me, many times over. If you choose to read those books, see if you also want answers to the questions asked.I have been writing stories most of my life. Unfortunately until recently most of them died on various hard drives of computers. I wrote my first real novel in 2002. It was called The Stranger, later renamed "The Devil, The Ghost and Will Anderson, a story of a man that had an encounter with Satan in a bar. Unfortunately I was not able to get the book published until 2008 when I discovered Kindle Direct Publishing. I presently have 4 books available for purchase in the kindle format. With a literary career spanning an impressive three decades, Wayne Simmes is a seasoned writer whose words reflect the tapestry of a life rich in experiences.
