Jan Baross is a documentary film producer/director, animator, a screenwriter, librettist, playwright, film critic, journalist, painter. She has an MA in Communication and has taught filmmaking OSU. "Jose Builds a Woman" is her first novel and has won First Place for Fiction, The Kay Snow Awards. Her second book is an illustrated travel guide to Paris, "Ms. Baross Goes to Paris." "Ms. Baross Goes to Mexico" will be released in 2013. She began traveling at age fifteen and has never stopped documenting her travels through writing and art.
