Thoughts Hurt Project is a continuation of sorts from my first book. It details the phase right after the betrayal, The Spiral, up until my attempted suicide.

Here I’m at my lowest. I’m angry, bitter and petty, and I saw no future, no hope, no light at the end of the tunnel.

The next phase, after my attempt, I call the Climb, and it’s where I started to embark on my spiritual journey of healing, growth, and ultimately getting myself better, physically and mentally. The last phase I call my Rebirth, as I feel like I’ve finally taken positive steps in the right direction for finding self-love and happiness.

No longer dwelling in self-loathing, sorrow and pity. Again, by no means am I the finished product or my best self just yet, but unlike during the time of my first book, I now know how to reach out and get real help and have strategies for my mental health going forward.

All I want from this book is to connect with anyone out there who’s struggling or going through their own battles and hardships. Know you are not alone, speak up and seek help.
