From there she moved to high school English composition and literature, History, English as a Second Language, and Spanish in several other private and public-systems.She has studied and been trained "in the trenches" for ten years in child and adolescent psychology, adult education, learning styles and techniques for dyslexia and the gifted, the psychology of the poor, developmental and remedial reading. Kay has served in ghetto schools, as well as, taught in elite private schools in Dallas, Texas, and Lakewood, Colorado. Whether imparting knowledge and skills to become more successful in life to learners from various countries, such as Russia, Japan, Mexico, or how to read, and write, and become fluent speakers of English, she has been a life-long learner herself and eager to pass this knowledge to others.For over twenty years, Kay worked along-side her cinematographer/director husband and traveled the world shooting movies, commercials, and documentaries. Her experiences led her to associate with some of the top Hollywood stars. Kay was a stand-in double for Emmy award winner, Patty Duke Astin, in the movie "Brothers O'Toole", as well as, an extra or walk-on in other movies.Kay has ten years experience in marketing and selling HUD and other residential properties as a Real Estate Broker.During the oil boom in the early 2000's through 2020, in Texas, as a Certified Professional Landman, she leased mineral rights in the Barnett Shale, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basin.As an Entrepreneur, Kay owned and managed several dry cleaning locations and their dry cleaning plant.
