Author Name
Lynn Woolley (Author)
Lynn Woolley here, known on the radio as the "Secretary of Logic" and to readers of my website www.WBDaily.com as a political columnist. I'll tell you a little more about me in a moment, but first, let's talk about books. The sceond book in my planned series of three is DARKER SECRETS. Here are the three titles -- with just one still left to go:"The Clock Tower and Other Stories" (19 tantalizing tales of suspense, fantasy and SF) - now available"Darker Secrets" (16 enticing tales of suspense and detection) - now available"Stitches In Time -- A Trilogy" (3 related stories of alternate realities)I've written columns, articles, and fiction for as long as I can remember. As a child, I created hand-written magazines for my friends and family. As a teenager, I published a comic book fanzine called "The Symbol." That's where my first four short stories were published.I went into radio and learned how to write news stories and commercials. I later started an advertising agency where I learned to write copy for television, newspapers, magazines, brochures, websites, and outdoor billboards. I've written articles for various publications including the Dallas Morning News, Texas Coach, Amazing World of DC Comics, Comic Book Marketplace, TALKERS, Alter Ego, and many others. I was a regular political columnist for the Dallas Morning News for many years, and my columns have appeared in the Austin American-Statesman, the Waco Tribune-Herald, and the Epoch Times. I've been a regular columnist online at Newsmax and Human Events. I'm a longtime broadcaster and talk show host heard in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Lubbock, Midland-Odessa, Waco, and Killeen-Temple. I was a host for the Children's Miracle network telethon for 22 years on KCEN-TV working with Marie Osmond and John Schneider. I currently co-host the Cardle & Woolley Show on Talk 1370 in Austin and host the Planet Logic podcast.I think you'll enjoy my books. Here's a quick list:Warner Bros. Television (a history of the famous TV studio)The Last Great Days Of Radio (a life in Texas radio)Clear Moral Objectives (how to Keep America Great)The Death of Talk Radio (exposing efforts to silence radio talk)The Clock Tower and Other Stories (19 tales of fantasy and science fiction)Darker Secrets (16 enticing tales of suspense and detection)All of these are available right here on Amazon, and I hope you'll check them out. Now back to the fiction. I made my first sale in 1980 to Amazing Science Fiction. I followed that up with a sale to Shadows Of. After that, I kept writing stories but concentrated on non-fiction for several years. Now, I've gathered all those stories -- about 127,000 words total -- and will publish them in three volumes. A great deal of these stories have been written recently and some are older. I've updated some, and left others as period pieces. The second (and latest) in the series is Darker Secrets. It begins with a vampire story and features three "Tales From the Strange Cafe." Yes, the Strange Cafe was a real place. I'll explain that in the intro to the stories. If you like Darker Secrets, please check out The Clock Tower and Other Stories as well. Meanwhile if you follow current events and popular culture, check out my columns at www.WBDaily.com and my podcast at www.PlanetLogic.us. I hope to see you there! Until then, Be Logical!Read more about this authorRead less about this author
