Claudia, pseudonym Cloud, grew up in the Italian countryside, often feeling too constricted by it. With a creative soul and a head in the clouds, she was always passionate about literature and drawn to words as a mean of expression. During her bachelor and master studies in Foregn languages and Translation she also acquired English as a second language, and consequently started working as a translator. In the last four years, after moving first to Berlin and then to the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, where she currently resides, she embarked on a different journey—that of spiritual evolution. Guided by a deep sense of unease, her hope was to understand its causes and free herself from its burden.Poetry, at that point, became what allowed her to elaborate the pain points at the root of her constant feeling of not belonging, to reintegrate them within herself and gain bigger confidence and self-worth for exactly who she is: a queer, non-conforming woman constantly reinventing herself to create a life truly made for her.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
