Author Name
Dr. Harriet G. Croskey (Author)
Although "YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) was introduced or seeded at a very young age, Dr. Harriet Croskey's personal or one-to-one relationship with the LORD God through Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing began significantly later in life (refer to Proverbs 22:6). Information in the Word of God revealed through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit has prompted her writings or "downloads" called Musings (600+ to date), innumerable Reflections on the Word of God, bookmarks, Christmas cards, and a Faith Develop Faith notebook. Up to this point, all of these have been gifted to others. Ordained in 2015, Dr. Croskey's "five-fold ministry gift of JESUS (refer to Ephesians 4:11) is significantly portrayed as that of teacher. One day, while endeavoring to develop "the measure of faith" (refer to Romans 12:3b) bestowed of the LORD God through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, the LORD God relayed via the Holy Spirit: "prayer is important" resulting in the desire to share that which she typically includes in her daily prayer(s) for: self; the nation; the outpouring of the Living Water upon all flesh (refer to John 7:37-39); community; workplace; church (i.e., edifice, building); financial ministry partnerships; and the Body of Christ/The Church, etcetera on a broader scale (refer to 1 Timothy 2:1-2). That these may be used in the development of one's own prayers in keeping with the will of the LORD God as relayed in His Word (refer to Mark 11:22-24; 1 John 5:14-15).(Note: Throughout her writings, Dr. Harriet Croskey often refers readers to Scripture so that they may read the Word of LORD God for themselves as opposed to taking anyone's word for it regardless of title. By the finished work of Christ Jesus, the present-day Ministry of the Holy Spirit - the Living Water - the Spirit of Truth, Who comforts and counsels and teaches and reminds us of all things JESUS [refer to John 14:16-26], was returned to earth for all humankind who utilize their free-will to "seek first the Kingdom of God . . ." [refer to Matthew 6:33]. The Holy Spirit is not an "it"; He is the Spirit of God within those reconciled with the LORD God by the blood of Jesus; He is the Anointing upon those rendered sons and daughters of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus; He makes manifest the outpouring gifted to heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ Jesus [refer to 1 Peter 1:4; Romans 8:17]; He is The Teacher on earth.)Read more about this authorRead less about this author

Praying is asking YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliteratedJEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD). Praying the Word of God develops faith because praying Scripture assures that we are asking in keeping with the LORD God’s will.

In other words, “God said so, therefore we say so”. Hence, prayer in keeping with God’s Word assures that we are asking that which the LORD God has already gifted for the benefit of mankind.

More specifically, The Blessing of Abraham (material blessings) and the fullness thereof (spiritual blessings, authority) by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. Among many titles and/or descriptors of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing, the Prophet Isaiah (53:12) referred to Him prophetically as the Great Intercessor.

Indeed, the Lord Jesus proved no stranger to prayer; praying even amid The Passion (refer to Luke 23:34). The Lord Jesus said, God the Father already knows what we need (refer to Matthew 6:8); to which it might be asked, “if God already knows what we need, why do we have to pray/ask?” Humanity must pray/ask because Genesis 1:26-28 tells us that the LORD gave man (i.

e. , male, female) dominion over the earth; and through the Prophet Isaiah (55:11), God firmly relays that whatever He says never returns void.

Therefore, asJohn Wesley stated, “. .

. (God) can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him.

” ¹ The Apostle Paul relayed that those who comprise the Body of Christ by the blood of Jesus are to pray all kinds of prayers, and requests, especially Holy Spirit led prayer (Ephesians 6:18). The Apostle John relayed in 1 John 5:14-15 that, when those who comprise the Body of Christ pray in keeping with God’s will for our lives, we may be assured of manifestation.

The only exception is that we are not asked to pray about the sin which leads to death (refer to 1 John 5:16). Jude relayed (v 20) that praying in the Spirit develops faith.

To which it might be asked, “What does developing faith have to do with prayer?” Except for salvation which simply requires repentance as well as believing and confessing the Lord Jesus, the issue of whether to pray/ask the LORD God once or repeatedly depends on faith development. The quality of relationship with the LORD God through the Lord Jesus, and revelation of the information in God’s Word through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit strengthens “the measure of faith.

” That is, the answer regarding whether a particular request via prayer is to be “once-and-done” or repetitive correlates to the development of the measure of faith gifted because faith is belief. Effective prayer correlates to believing in God as well as believing God.
