I self-published two books, before I caught the eye of a publisher, in 2014 and 2015 called "Mirrored" and "Something More".My first professionally published book, "Pele’s Fire", was released in 2019 by Babylon Books. My second, "Eyes of the Beholder" launched on July 19, 2022. My third, "Voice of the Victim" launched on July 15, 2023. My next book, "Soul of the Sleuth" will launch on August 13, 2024.All of my published books are supernatural mysteries that take place on the Hawaiian island of Maui.After forty years as a research scientist in the academic, health care, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries, authoring multiple scientific papers and book chapters, I began writing full-time in 2008 after moving to the beautiful island of Maui. At the Hawaii Writers Conference (2009), I served as Volunteer Coordinator for the Aloha Writers Conference on Maui (2013) and helped found the writers group Maui Writers, Ink (2014). I self-published my first book in 2014 and second in 2015, presented seminars at the Rose State Writers Workshop (2015) and at WriterCon (2018, 2021 and 2022).
