David was a successful Business Change Programme Manager before retiring and fulfilling a long-held dream to move to France.Born and brought up in North London before moving to the somewhat greener pastures of mid-Essex he studied computing and subsequently pursued a career in that field; during which an 8 month assignment in Paris triggered his love of France. After then being made redundant he setup his own Private Service Company and worked on his own account providing Programme, Project Management and Business Change Consultancy to a range of public and blue chip private sector clients for 20 years before taking early retirement.A holiday in the Dordogne reignited his passion for the country and he and his wife then set about making that dream a reality. Their journey encompassed numerous twists and turns before finally settling in the Correze. In the next couple of years numerous friends had asked him for help in planning their move so he decided to formalise his suggestions and tips based on his real-life experiences.
