From the time she was old enough to hold a pencil, Darcie Morin could often be found writing stories about everything from field trips she went on in elementary school to elaborate tales of mystery and suspense. It wasn't until high school, that she knew without a doubt that she wanted to make a real career out of writing, and with the encouragement of her tenth grade English teacher, she worked at honing her craft and thus a perfectionist was born! In 2012, Darcie published a few books with a small publishing company, but things didn't work out and the books are no longer available, but after getting through college with a degree in creative writing and getting through many of the other hardships that life has thrown her way, Darcie has now released her new series and plans to release many more.Writing, and getting lost in the world of fiction is something that she has always loved and she hopes to do the same for her readers that so many writers before her did for her... allow them to escape reality for a while.She currently resides in Maryland with her mom and her pug and when she's not working or writing her next novel, she enjoys reading other thrillers by James Patterson, Danielle Girard, and her mentor, the late Michael Palmer. She also enjoys taking her dog on walks, and binge watching cop shows with her mother.
