A book describing a look at Mobile Home park life through park management eyes. You can get up one day and everything is fantastic and you go about your daily routine without a problem.

Then there are those days that no matter how much you try to keep that day on the straight and narrow and keep the business of the day in front of you, it's just not going to happen because of the unforeseen things that are going to come along with no warning and smack you right in the face. There are stories in the book where all three of the managers are in the office doing paperwork on a mundane day and all of a sudden there are twelve Police cars coming through the entryway of the property whizzing past your office and your thinking "what the hell is going on".

So you walk down to the street they went to and you see all the officers out of their vehicles with assault rifles in their hands and they are ordering people out of one of the homes on the property. Or it could be that the work day is over and you and your wife are at home eating dinner and someone knocks on your kitchen window.

When you get up and go to the window to see who's there, you have a resident that's coming in from work and he says there is a guy out on the front lawn that is drunk and he has shit everywhere and he's rolling around in it. When you're told that you have to laugh a little and ask if that's really true and he said yes.

you put on shoes and walk to the front of the property and look around the corner and sure enough there is a guy laying on the ground and he only has his underwear on AND he has flat turds stuck to his whole body from rolling around in it! you call the Police and they come and while they are getting ready to arrest him, his brother in law walks up and tells me the guy on the grass is a resident of mine and is there anything I could do to not have him arrested. I called the officer over and explained the situation and that maybe we could somehow guide him back home instead and the officer says "I would do anything to not have to put him in my car".

So the officers walked him home and put him in a chair out on his driveway, they turned on the hose and blew crap off of him so he could go in his house and sleep it off. I walked out to my truck one morning and could hear Police sirens everywhere out front.

I started the truck and let it warm up and it was like the sirens were returning towards the property. I backed out and started to make my way to the end of the street so I could maybe see what was up and about then it sounded like the sirens were in my truck! I looked to the left and there was a Ryder rental box truck coming around the corner at about 35mph and was coming right at me, I pulled into a persons driveway to get out of the way and behind him were 6 Police cars with a Police chopper 50 ft off the ground chasing this truck.

After they all passed I backed out of that driveway and went to the next street to look down it and all the Police cars were parked sideways in the middle of the road with that box truck and the chopper was above the street behind that. I parked my truck and walked down to where the Police cars were and by that time they were dragging the guy back handcuffed after he had jumped out of the truck and tried to run.

Found out the truck was reported stolen and that was the reason for all the action. Also found out that the guy driving the truck was a visitor of one of the residents of the property.

Needless to say those people ended up in legal trouble over the whole situation. These are the types of things that describe what this book is all about.
