Phoenix Wolfe: sassy woman… spicy writer… slightly insane. Phoenix grew up in the mountains surrounded by green trees, splashing streams, and wildlife of all kinds. As an adult, she chased her dream of living near the ocean and moved to a quiet beach town with stunning sunsets and entirely too many tourists. When she’s not writing, she’s a healthcare provider (hence the pen name, since learning she writes steamy scenes might make people question her lifesaving skills). Her day job requires her to be a morning person, which is unfortunate, as she does her best writing late at night when the house is quiet enough for her to hear the conversations her characters are having in her head. This leads to a chronic sleep deficit, crankiness (which is obviously due to lack of sleep and not a personality flaw), and a profound love of naps.In addition to writing emotionally raw novels (some of which include seriously steamy stuff) and taking care of sick people, Phoenix also rescues animals (mostly cats and dogs, though a hawk, a guinea pig, and dozens of baby rabbits have also found their way to her). She loves to hang out with her friends and family, adores being in nature, and has more books than she could possibly read (though that doesn’t stop her from buying more and reading obsessively). She also tortures plants under the guise of gardening and listens to music and audiobooks at every opportunity.
