MCAREL Consulting is a boutique information technology consulting firm working from the Isle of Man. We have been providing Agile consultancy and training in Agile Methods based on Scrum , Kanban and SAFe to our customers in the Insurance industry for a number of years.

We also provide internal training to our staff. We recently looked at the quality of our internal training material and decided to publish it for a wider audience.

We're starting with an online course on Scrum on the teachable platform at https://education. mcarelconsulting.

com and with this ebook in kindle format for those that prefer that format. We collectively worked on over 25 projects over 17 years using Agile methods with a great deal of success.

But we're finding that a lot of the literature currently available can be a little academic and not particularly representative of what's going on within the enterprise software projects we regularly work with. This book is designed to reflect our project experience to a wider audience and ease the entry into Agile for those planning an Agile transformation within their organisation or just thinking of using Scrum on their next project.

This book is our first, and we will follow up with courses and books on SAFe and Kanban if the reception to this material is positive. We also provide open-source training for our customers and plan to provide books and courses on that topic as well.
