Cairo-born resident of the beautiful German town of Ilmenau, where I finished my Master's Degree in Media Technology. I have been lucky enough to find amazing mentorship from everyone at TU Ilmenau, last of which being Dr Florian Weidner & Prof Wolfgang Broll, who helped me write my way to an award winning paper in VR Research.But it was an earlier award in life that had captured my fancy. Ever since reading into the works of Prof J.R.R Tolkien I've been inspired to build worlds of my own to write my own stories within. The joy such worlds held with their transformative properties was one I hoped to recreate (one of countless many inspired by the professor). An early Short-Story writing award spurred me on that path, along with a loving word of encouragement from one of my English teachers to "Reach for the Stars."The journey this set me on has been wonderful, and everything I've learned on my own today has been in some way born out of a love for creation and writing. I learned Photoshop to make my own maps; After Effects and Unreal Engine, to create my own scenes and videos; Oil Painting, to bring to canvas what words could not.
