You don't outwit the reaper by going invisible. The winter doldrums set in early for Kerry, a weary construction laborer with big dreams.

Working late one evening, he witnesses a strange phenomenon an attractive woman named Sarah, who seems to have vanished into thin air. Fearing that his mind is playing tricks on his perception, Kerry turns to a friend, who encourages him to seek out a well-known 'street watcher' in Downtown Philadelphia.

The stranger proposes a scenario where Sarah has become lost in a parallel dimension of time. He instructs Kerry on how to theoretically access time travel.

Doubting this wisdom, he concedes the possibility and devises a plan to recover Sarah. Without knowing the many perils involved, he sets off on his journey through the multitude of dimensions to bring her home.

On the way, he meets a charming investment broker with a deep secret and a beautiful woman with whom he shares a complex relationship. Feverishly jumping from dimension to dimension to track Sarah down, he encounters failure of memory and vicious, pursuing monsters until he is lost.

He must fight the dark creatures that seek to destroy him, rescue Sarah, and find his way home before he becomes nothing. .
