After graduating from high school, Jakob “Jake” Gentry served over four years in the United States Air Force as an avionics maintenance technician. Jake trained at Biloxi, Mississippi, then was stationed in southern California, followed by the Netherlands. Following military service Jake worked for many years in Silicon Valley in the electronics industry, eventually transitioning into the television and film industry beginning in the spring of 1996, gaining eligibility to join the Screen Actors Guild in the fall of 1996. In movies and television Jake worked alongside stars such as Robin Williams and Don Johnson, in addition to appearing in several commercials and print advertisement. In the fall of 2005 Jake made another career change by going into work related to national defense and national security, which included three years living and working in Kuwait and another year in Baghdad, Iraq. A California native, Jake has traveled extensively around the world to over 30 countries, continues to work in a field related to national security, and currently resides in “a secure, undisclosed location” in Oakdale, California.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
