Legion Ivory is a Chicago-born writer based in California. A lover of the arts since childhood, he began his career as a musician in 2003 as an organist. He would eventually graduate from Dominican University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition, and ultimately compose a full orchestra piece for 2018's Men's New York Fashion Week, opening the event with fashion designer Alessandro Trincone. While music his first love, storytelling is Legion Ivory's greatest passion, and through his music he has shared many stories. He knew he would eventually find himself putting pen to paper and become an author. Struggles from both the Covid-19 Pandemic and the 2023 Writers Strike caused major setbacks for Ivory, but he refused to give into failure.
