From my experience, I have seen a lot of avoidable blindness - people engaged in hazardous practices , which the commonest is habitual eye robbing and this is due to lack of proper information that led me to write this book. However, the eye is a vital organ responsible for sight, intricately connected to the brain and highly sensitive to light.

It is delicate and requires special care, much like breakable glasses. The eye's sensitivity allows it to detect even subtle changes in light, but excessive brightness can cause discomfort.

Healthy eyes are essential for overall health, as they serve as diagnostic indicators for many bodily conditions. Unlike other parts of the body, the eye lacks keratinised tissues, making it more susceptible to damage from bright light, dust, burns, chemicals, infections, and injuries.

Therefore, it requires maximum protection and special care. The eye is not only crucial for perception but also contributes to the dignity, beauty, and security of an individual.
