Matt must join Alexis to find the gemstones. Will Alexis and Matt succeed? Matt and Alexis have begun their journey to collect the gemstones before the dark empress Aurora acquires them.

They can't get along with each other, but when Matt is taken hostage and his gemstone used against him, Alexis must come to his rescue. Can she do it or is their journey over before it starts? Not being able to tolerate each other any longer, Matt and Alexis decide to split up.

But trouble finds them separately when a man named Gyron uses his gemstone to take on Alexis and send people after Matt to kill him and take his gemstone. Will Matt and Alexis reunite to defeat this new foe? Alexis took a beating from Gyron and Matt was chased by a rabid couple, but the two have managed to survive.

Both know that they need to work together and return to Harrington to take on Gyron and acquire his gemstone. The final battle between Gyron and Alexis is about to come to a head, but she is going to need Matt's help.

Will Alexis and Matt survive? Still reeling from her wounds after the battle with Gyron, Alexis runs into an old friend who she thought is dead. She warns Alexis that a dark power is coming and the only way to defeat the evil is by finding the mystical weapon the Netherblade.

Matt learns that Alexis's friend is not all that she seems. The dark power surfaces and it is someone close to Alexis.

Can Alexis stop this dark force and find the Netherblade? Alexis and Matt must hunt Alexis's sister, Anne, down to stop her from obtaining the great weapon, the Netherblade. They journey inside a portal to another world and must go against the creatures of the world.

Then, they must avoid the traps that protect the Netherblade. Who is going to obtain the Netherblade, Alexis or Anne? As they are about to head for the next gemstone, Matt and Alexis come across a boy who is being chased by three men who accuse of him of helping a local warlord kidnap young woman.

The boy proclaims his innocence and Alexis and Matt decides to help rescue the young woman, but the boy has ulterior motives. They go up against someone from Alexis's past named Talus.

Can Alexis defeat the warlord and rescue the young women? Matt and Alexis have located the third gemstone when they come across a city that has been decimated. They find one survivor that tells that the city was destroyed by two powerful beings.

They soon deduce that the two are aided by the gemstone. A new battle is on.
