"Hi, I'm Aries Blackstone, a pen name I write under. Raised in Texas with 11 siblings, I have many fond memories of growing up in a lively and loving household, where we always had someone to play and share with. At the age of 19, I joined the Air Force and worked as a photographer. I traveled the globe, capturing diverse and captivating moments through my lens. My time as a photographer during the Gulf War was both challenging and profoundly enlightening. After my service in the Air Force, I discovered another passion: serving adults and children with disabilities. Though I hold a special focus on working with children with autism, finding it immensely rewarding and fulfilling. For over 12 years, I've been a business owner and recently embarked on a journey of writing children's books, notably about children with autism, aiming to share narratives that illuminate their abundant capabilities." Writing has long been a passion of mine, and though time was a constraint, I've finally realized my dream.
