Understanding the therapeutic potential of medicinal plants in this semi-arid area necessitated phytochemical investigations. Extraction using twelve solvents revealed varying extractive values, with methanol and water yielding the highest for APL and GTL, respectively.
Qualitative and quantitative analyses showed the presence of various bioactive compounds, with polar solvents extracting higher amounts of phenols, flavonoids, and proanthocyanidins.
