Richard Allen Dacey (b. January 7th, 1983) is a fiction writer from Salem, Massachusetts. He wrote the first draft of Purgatory Moon in 2013 and its first two sequels throughout the following year. In late 2020, he wrote the prequel to the Soul Shepherd Saga, Miles' Promise, and then focused on releasing the Purgatory Moon Decade Edition. He plans to release the Deluxe Version, which includes Miles' Promise, as well as the Decade Edition to books II and II of his fantasy series.Mr. Dacey has enlisted artist Jeremiah Hoppe as his cover artist; the results are high-quality creative works of art that are as versatile as the books they promote. There have been a few helpful eyes that have glanced over Purgatory Moon, but Steven W Rodgers of the Edit Authority is the professional hand that helped craft the Decade Edition. Mr. Dacey's mentor, Author Timothy Quigley, passed away in late 2020 but left a lasting impression on his dedication to his work.
