Apostle Derrick Zachary is the founder of Walking In Authority International Ministries. He was born in Opelousas. LA and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. As a young man he never knew the purpose of his life, but he did know that God had a plan for him and that it was going to be great. Apostle Zachary attended college in Toccoa, GA, where he studied music and communications. He has been in ministry for more than 10 years. His first speaking engagement was done at the age of 17, in front of 27,000 people, in downtown Atlanta, for the March for Jesus. He is noted for being one of the first men in Atlanta to perform Praise Dance and Mime. God used that as a platform to get Apostle into many doors that lead to numerous souls being healed, delivered, and set free. Apostle Zachary has been used in many capacities which include but are not limited to helping set up churches.Presently, Apostle Zachary has a degree in the field of Medical Assistance and Healthcare Management, just recently receiving an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from School of The Great Commission in South Carolina. He said he always has this scripture in mind, “Cry loud and spare not tell my people about their sins. “Isaiah 58:1. He considers himself just another soldier down in the trenches like everyone else. He has assisted in building up many ministries, setting a foundation of order and training for those to know where they fit in the kingdom.Apostle Zachary wrote his first book this year entitled, “Psalms of A Prophet; In the Midst of it All I Got an Answer”, and “The Tears of a Prophet”, it will be on shelves very soon. Apostle Zachary has also stated moving forward in the music and the movie world that God has set before him. Apostle Zachary has done a stage play, “Safe Place” dealing with AIDS/ HIV Awareness with KPO Productions. Did his first web series entitle, “You Stand We Stand Together” directed by Charay Vaughn. Apostle was quoted as saying, “I could not escape what God had for me. I am reminded that many are called but few are chosen. God uses me to restore the churches back to where they need to be, by speak out against sin and giving depth insight and revelation to God’s word.” He is known as the Great Illustrator.
