After spending most of my career in the business world I discovered a passion for writing. Once I began writing story ideas came easily. The combination of my interests in military aircraft identification, model making, flight simulation piloting, and the use of a very active imagination, helped me create a series of stories under the general title of Prison Rules. The first volume is Prison Rules: The Mission. Additional volumes are being prepared for publication.Other books include:Managing Expectations, about a young man trying to navigate the expectations of others on his way to a Major League career. The Necessary War, where a prisoner of war fights the enemy with the only weapons available to him.First Assignment, a narrative about a young FTL engineer and his first deep space assignment.There are other stories that have leaped from my mind into the word processor, and I expect to publish them as time goes on. In addition to adventure stories, I am partial to science fiction, humorous mysteries, and social commentary.My favorite authors are Robert B. Parker, Lawrence Sanders, Stephen King, Sue Grafton, Alan Dean Foster, Stephen Coontz, Gregory McDonald, Steig Larsson and Dale Brown.
