Evgeny Markin (Author)
Evgeny Markin received in 1983 Engineer’s degree in radio engineering from the Minsk Higher Engineering Anti-aircraft Missile Academy of Air Defense, 5 years. In 1992 has been received a Mathematic's degree from Novosibirsk State University, 5 years, and has a qualification Mathematician with a degree in Applied Mathematics. In 1982 received award of All-Union competition of young Scientists of the USSR. The work, focused on electromagnetism. In this work, a new form of the Fredholm integral equation of the second kind was obtained, which was applied to calculate spiral antennas. After graduating from the Minsk Higher Engineering Anti-aircraft Missile Academy of Air Defense in 1983, entered active military service in the USSR Air Defense Forces as an officer of an anti-aircraft missile system, where received practical knowledge in the field of radars and guided missile systems.Extensive experience in use and technical support of various radio engineering systems, including firing radars (fire control radars), surveillance radars, detection radars, radio altimeters, antennas, wire communication systems, radio relay systems, vehicles, etc. In an anti-aircraft missile battalion, was on combat duty as a commander of a combat shift, and in the status of a gunner, that is, an officer, who makes the decision to launch a missile. During this time, 18 technical proposals were developed to improve the existing air defense system. One of which concerned the replacement of wide-beam antenna scanners in the field and in combat conditions. This proposal was subsequently included in the manual for combat work. The Sary-Shagan state missile defense research site, located at Lake Balkhash in Kazakhstan, was the next step in professional development. At this test site, was as an expert on anti-jamming air defense systems. Extensive experience in testing air defense systems and experience in developing proposals for improving these systems. The developed proposals are still used in current technology. Participation in tests at the stage of General Designer, State tests and in control tests of the first production model of a new anti-aircraft missile system S-200D.The work of the leading designer of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system under the leadership of Alexander Lemansky, General Designer of the State Research and Development Bureau ”ALMAZ”, Moscow, Russia and study of electromagnetism, antennas, microwave theory and the theory of control of automatic systems in the postgraduate study of the Central Design Bureau ”ALMAZ” all of that made a huge contribution to the development of the professional level.IEEE member since 2001, and also AFCEA life member and EuMA member.Reviewer and/or TPC member of well-known scientific conferences such as IEEE Radar Conference and others.Since 2006, an independent expert on radar, electromagnetism, antennas and signal processing, stability analysis of automatic target tracking, including in the presence of interference, as well as in calculations of electromagnetic field scattering from objects of complex shapes. In addition, it analyzes today’s military and geo-political threats, an estimation the seeker stability on target auto-tracking in conditions of some interference, and also asses existing limitations on firing over the horizon by a long-range anti-aircraft missile system, including at hypersonic targets and satellites.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
