Hans Christensen (Author)
Hans Christensen graduated in 1982 from Aarhus University in Denmark with a Master’s degree in Chemistry and Art History. He has extensive experience from working, living and traveling under international conditions, for decades, since 1982. He worked with the Danish Environmental Protection Agency and then moved to Italy to work as a scientist at the EU Joint Research Centre for a number of years.Returning to Denmark to pursue an IT and management consulting career, he directed scientific computing at a major medical company, then went onto finance and management consulting. In the so-called dotcom period around the year 2000 he co-founded some Internet startups that did not last long or were exited. Most recently, he held management positions with a dominant player in international container shipping.Hans Christensen lives near a historical fishing village turned suburb to Copenhagen. Actually, it is unglamorously hidden just behind Copenhagen Airport, on the coast. The front-page garden picture is from just outside his study.Visit his creative website. Live Authoring Experience. POST-GLOBALISMWhy globalization failed and what comes nextPredictions includedGlobalization failed and the expectations and aspirations of globalists did not come true. It was simply wrong to believe that in the wake of liberal economy follows automatically, given a bit of time, liberal democracy and lasting peace in the historical perspective.

Globalization got off to a very good start and progressed well for a few decades. Globalization has brought unprecedented prosperity and rapid development.

But it has failed in many other aspects. It has failed to bring democracy and peace.

Indeed, it has brought less democracy and more war and political tension. What went wrong? What are the reasons for the failures?Post-globalism is what comes after globalization.

This book contains predictions on a bona fide basis, free for all to consider, could be wrong, but worth a debate. Not a scholarly book, it’s a layman’s book for lay men and women.

Written by the human mind and hand. No artificial intelligence (AI) involved in authoring this book.

The author has decades of experience with working in international business and organizations, as well as direct experience with many countries and cultures. The book will give you more insight and confidence to take and give in future debates.

ConclusionWith a monumental amount of irony, the final outcome of globalization was less democracy, not more. More wars, not peace and friendship.

Less liberal economy, not more. Less liberal democracy, less civic rights, less freedom of speech.

The list goes on and on, and we can only hope that the aftermath of the wars will bring some decent afterthought into the minds the globalist elites. Some of the recent elitist alternatives, like techno-optimism, are of exactly the same universalist brew as globalism.

That will not help root up the mess that globalism has created, unfortunately. Instead, we need a revival of respectfulness for all citizens, poor as well rich – together with a revival of the art of listening to each other.

Much more listening instead of posturing and screaming out stupefying nonsense through impersonal media channels. No more smart ideologies like globalism that mostly serve to prevent facing reality.
