Denise McCormick bestows passion onto everything she accomplishes. As a loving mother, inspirational teacher and successful entrepreneur, Denise lives by the motto: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!”Denise’s rose-colored outlook on life stems from overcoming a multitude of challenges on her path to success. She suffered a terrible accident when she was 13 years old and grew up with a difficult family life. She made the conscious decision early on to make positive choices. She received the Danforth Outstanding Leadership award upon graduating high school and went on to college. Today, Denise holds a B.A.in Elementary Education from Iowa Wesleyan University andM.A.E. in Education with two specialist certifications from Viterbo University. She has 23 years experience teaching elementary school and ten years experience teaching undergraduate classes for Iowa Wesleyan University, where she was the Lecturer in Education and the Reading Specialist.
