His influences include Charles Bukowski, Charles Baudelaire, Leonard Cohen, Haris Vlavianos, Tzanatos Tsimaras, Zbigniew Herbert and Harry Mathews among others.His original works include "Leonard's Dojo: Poems in Honor of Leonard Cohen", "Poems for Hank: A Tribute to Charles Bukowski", Resign in Stone: Poems in Honor of Tzanatos Tsimaras and "Weed Poems: Stoner Poetry not for the Masses". He is currently working on an anthology of divorce poems.There comes a time when one sits down and writes a poem for the first time; for some there is no going back. Soon I would write poems at the bar, in the gym, during nature walks, in the tube. I would write in the shower, if my notebook was waterproof. Charles Bukowski taught me that poetry could be direct and unambiguous. Charles Baudelaire showed that you are allowed to get philosophical in your verses.
