Louise is an award-winning poet and performer, writer, and workshop facilitator.During a ten-year career as an actress, theatre-maker and creative freelancer, Louise has worked in the media and entertainment industry as a copywriter, creative facilitator, workshop leader, producer and Co-founder and Company Director of the award-winning interactive theatre company, Say It Again, Sorry? Throughout her career, her focus has been on inspiring creativity, connection and wellbeing through artistic expression.In 2019 she was awarded a Developing Your Creative Practice Grant by Arts Council England to develop and deliver poetry workshops and events for vulnerable adults and young people and is an Apples & Snakes emerging writers' alumni, receiving mentorship from Joelle Taylor, Adam Kammerling and Francesca Beard. She is Little Bird's Publishing House's Flash Friday Winner and her words and poems have been published in numerous anthologies as well as magazines both online and in print. She has performed featured poetry sets around the UK and Europe and runs various creative and poetry events and open-mic nights around the UK and online.Louise has developed and delivered poetry and writing workshops for charities, festivals, retreats and arts organisations such as Red Bull, The Great Connection Festival, Nozstock, Growing Poetry, Tottenham Creates, Community Organisers in collaboration with Spoken, Equal Arts, Eastside, the Community Cook Up and has delivered ESL poetry workshops in Spain. She runs her own Writing and Submitting Poetry courses online.With a mission to help scatter the seeds of our wild and epic experience, Louise is an advocate of how access to Poetry can save lives and offers free daily poetry prompts and writing inspiration on her Instagram @a_poetontheroad. She is also the Co-founder of the poetry collective, Tandem Poets, created with the mission to help elevate its participants and artists through collaboration and co-authoring poetic works, @tandempoets.
