Conventionally referred to as "Chop-Hanging Fist," Piguaquan is an ancient Chinese martial art that originated during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). It is categorized as a principal form of Beijiquan, a martial art from Northern China.

Piguaquan emphasizes dynamic footwork and forceful, rapid strikes. Piguaquan is characterized by its distinctive slicing and hanging motions, which are performed with tremendous force.
