Ornamental plants play an essential role in human life and hold broad applications in agriculture, industry, and medicine, making them of paramount research interest. This Special Issue of Horticulturae belongs to the section "Physiological and Molecular Biology Research on Ornamental Flowers".

It is aimed at elucidating the potential mechanisms behind the growth, development, and stress responses of ornamental plants. It highlights new insights into the variations in flower color and scent, the development and utilization of ornamental flowers, and the environmental adaptation of these plants.
