I grew up in London, England and playing professional football (soccer) was the only thing I wanted to do. I was lucky enough to have done that and played in the North American Soccer League (NASL). The pioneer days of soccer in America was exciting times and the thrill of playing against and with very famous players was where I wanted to be at. My book, "Here There and Back Again" tells the tales of my ventures and has many stories to keep you pinned to the book. I am retired now living in Mexico after having a career after professional soccer in business as an IT professional. Computers were just getting popular in the '80s and I took a shine to it even though my character never really fit the business profile. Computer programmers were in demand and after college I never found it difficult to have work in that field. So now I am happily retired in Mexico and decided to write my experiences in moving to the country. I give plenty of detail of the legalities you need to complete, costs (which change every year), and buying a home.
