Based on a true story, Oscar's Rocket is a heartwarming tale about a young Australian boy named Oscar who dearly misses his grandparents living far away in Ireland. One night, after sharing his weekly adventures with his Granny and Granda via video call, Oscar becomes sad about their distance.

Determined to find a way to visit them, he dreams up several plans, including driving, walking, and flying, but each idea has its challenges. Finally, inspired by a pile of boxes in his room, Oscar decides to build a rocket to visit his grandparents.
