Hello, and welcome to my page! I am a wife, mother of three amazing children, author and speaker. Born just outside Chicago, I have lived several places throughout my lifetime.Though I currently call Woodstock, CT home. Along with my passion for writing I also love music, interior design, and all sorts of arts and crafts. At the age of fifteen, while at a youth camp, I responded to the altar call and 'asked Jesus into my heart'. I had a head knowledge of Christ, but not a heart change. And though I called my self a Christian, I truly was not. I believed the lie that I was saved because I had spoken the words. I continued living life 'my way', pushing God away. Not once in all the years I falsely claimed to be a believer did I pick up a Bible and read God's word for myself. I went to church now and again, learned enough scripture to sound like a believer; but I was heading straight for Hell. Years later I found myself in a desperate place. Surrounded in sin; a place that I never thought possible. Tired of trying to 'do life" on my own and knowing that I could not continue living as I was, I cried out to God. This time when I asked Jesus to become my Lord and Savior, I meant it. I really internalized what it was I was doing in asking Jesus to come into my heart. Immediately God stepped in and began the process of healing. For the first time in my life I picked up a Bible and began to read God's word. WOW! It has changed my life! I have experience a transformation over the last several years. The old me is gone; I am a new creation! (2 Corinthians 5:17) I am by no means perfect. I still mess up, but now when I sin I almost immediately feel remorse and repent. I cannot continue living in my sin; the Holy Spirit convicts me. I also have a sweet relationship with my heavenly father. He is not the 'angry God' out to get me that I once thought He was. My hope and prayers for my books, as well as my women's ministry (Prov315.org), is that women all over the world will come to realize that they too have a father in heaven who loves them. Your past does not matter ...You are NOT your past! If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior, then you are a NEW CREATION! (Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17) God'd plan for us is to draw close to him! Let's boldly step into the sanctification process, through the daily reading and study of God's word, prayer and worship. To boldly enter the throne room of God; what an AMAZING place to be! How amazing it is to experience all God has for you. His blessings for us are not only in the world to come, but here now, today, while on this earth; His healing, His blessings, His joy and His peace! We can only experience all God has for us when we are daily drawing close to Him.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
