I love writing! I have stories to tell and sharing them is awesome. Because I've watched so many shows on paranormal activity and read countless books, I decided to take a different approach while writing. I'm a history buff, so writing in different time frames is fun for me. Readers are "historically informed" when reading my work. The background is important because it builds an interesting backdrop and explains the reasons behind the hauntings. Some of my novels, like Don't Say Her Name are based on actual events. I used my experiences for that one. Although Attached is about my least favorite, it is based entirely on true happenings as told to me through extensive interviews. If I had to chose a favorite, it would be One Grave Secret. Not a ghost story at all, it follows a serial killer and explains his reasoning and thought processes. It is definitely not for the weak stomach or heart. It's called a psychological thriller for a reason, reader be warned.I'm also very proud of my Christianity and faith in Jesus. Also, my three children make life fun, exciting and bearable. Besides writing, I enjoy going to yard sales, repurposing things and rambling in other people's junk.
