Hello!I am a Mexican historian born on February 12, 1976. I completed my doctoral studies at the University of Paris X-Nanterre.Since 2007, I have been working as a professor-researcher at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. I love doing research, especially in Hispanic archives from the 16th century, such as the General Archive of the Indies, which I consider a gold mine.When I conducted research for my doctoral thesis, I asked myself: How does a society come into being? That's why I studied the event of the Spanish Conquest, because I saw that at that moment, a good part of pre-Columbian societies disappeared to give way to the birth of a new society: Latin American society.I love reading. I have a very special predilection for classical authors.
