Dr Manzoor Ahmad Mir completed his masters in Life Sciences with the gold medal and then qualified the prestigious Junior Research Fellowship cum National Eligibility Test (JRF-NET) examination. He completed his Ph.D. in Immunology from Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi through the National Laboratory Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH-CSIR) in Cancer Biology and Immunology Division under the guidance of Bhatnagar Awardee Dr. Javed Naim Agrewala. His Ph. D work includes understanding the role of reverse co-stimulation in the survival of intracellular pathogens and cancer. Dr. Manzoor has many diploma courses to his credit which include Postgraduate diplomas in Higher Education (PGDHE) and Ecology and Environment (PGDEE). He has published several international papers and review articles including papers on of cancer and tuberculosis. He has also published many papers in the proceedings of international conferences and about 35 abstract papers in national and international conferences besides attending many orientation and refresher courses. He is also the author of several books on Polyphenols, Costimulation and Cancer. He is Life member of many National and International societies. He has successfully guided many students at the bachelors and masters level. Dr. Manzoor is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Bioresources, University of Kashmir and presently he is working as a Research Scientist with Dr. Raid Saleem Albaradie in Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri Chair for Applied Research in Stroke at the College of Applied Medical Sciences Majmaah University Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
