Andrew Garten has been a writer for his whole life. But getting published has always been a hurdle that seemed like a dream. With the advent of E-publishing and self-publishing on Amazon, Andrew decided to take the leap and proceed with getting published. He joined the Navy in 1995 as a Navy Journalist. He had a crazy idea of becoming something of a modern-day Hemingway. He was too timid to produce any writings for publication. Nevertheless, he dreamed all the time of getting published. After serving two enlistments, Andrew pursued training as a Graphic Designer. However, after obtaining a job for 5 wonderful weeks he was laid off due to the economic situation of 2008. The next step was to get a job as fast as possible. Andrew became an Emergency Medical Technician [EMT] and began his journey to becoming a Physician Assistant [Associate]. Andrew has been recording his spiritual growth and self-reflection most of his life. He now seeks to share what he has discovered in the form of his writing and musings.
