It's true that after living for three years in Martinique and its gorgeous beaches, we were thinking that we'd find the same spots here and were a little bit disappointed. Nevertheless, we succeeded in finding breathtaking beaches with stunning lagoons.

so patience is one of the keywords in New Caledonia. As for nature, it conquered us from the start with its incredible diversity, perhaps the richest we have ever encountered so far.

New Caledonia is an archipelago formed by a main island, called Grande Terre, 400 km long and 50 km wide, and more than 140 islands.

One of the best known is the gorgeous Île-des-Pins (Isle of Pines) but there are also the Loyalty Islands to the east: Ouvéa, Lifou and Maré. .
