Brooklyn born and raised, specifically East New York. I started writing in elementary school. Instead of listening to my teacher I was passing notes writing plays stealing student’s attention getting them to participate. That school was named after a writer that I later discovered wrote for the 1st President of the United States. Phyllis Wheatley wrote poetry in the 1700’s. Funny how real-life influences work. From there my creative spirit was taking over in a literary sense. Writing poetry as a hobby, then for pleasure led me to pen for my high school newspaper, and finally having the courage to step out on faith and put out what I enjoy most as a reader. Being a hopeless romantic is something I am proud of and through writing I am able to share that in many different ways, how complications that lead to embracing all that the heart truly desires. With every story, I welcome all who also believe that the heart will not be denied, and passion has a mind of it’s own. My love stories are not anti-anyone, they are based on complicated people discovering what their heart needs in spite of the world's view of what they should want or have.
