Author Name
Andrew P Partington (Author)
Andrew P Partington is 55 years old and a bit of an Australian polymath: a writer, musician, teacher and IT administrator with a philosophical bent, who shares his house with his housemate, Nick, and his housemate’s dog, an impossibly cute Chinese Shar-Pei puppy who is exceptionally well house-trained and endearingly naughty. He (Andrew, not the dog) has designed websites, programmed in various languages, managed databases and computer infrastructure (clever dog but not that clever!). Widely read, he has expertise in statistics and research methods, and has been reading and writing articles interpreting studies for many years, in other words, he has the right background for writing Transgenic, his first foray into non-fiction, which is a history of the Covid era, from Wuhan labs to lockdowns, from ivermectin’s demonization to the vilification of the unvaccinated, from transgenic mice to pseudo-mRNA, from masks, respirators, fake statistics & officials who lied to pastors & doctors who stood against tyranny. Transgenic is 824 pages long, with 1042 references and also looks at the ethical dilemmas for Christians relating to the scientific facts of the Covid era and the witness of DNA to the divine logos, as well as medical practices and euthanasia in hospitals between 2020-2022.As you must surely perceive, Andrew also has the requisite background knowledge to create a plausible Christian techno-thriller. His first three novels, in the Nathanael Wayfarer series, are techno thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat. The Adamantine Disclosure (2017)was Andrew's first book in the technological thriller genre, the sequels, the Bel Algorithm, and the Cabal Luminary were written in 2018 - 2019 and are looking more and more plausible every day. Andrew P Partington’s latest book, “John Green: a Passion for Coranderrk” is a historical novel recounting the true story of the Scottish missionary John Green and his friendship with Simon Wonga, the king of the Wiradjuri people in the colony of Port Philip in colonial Australia. Andrew's education has included tertiary units in computer programming, statistics, research methods, philosophy, Biblical history, New Testament Greek, the Near-Eastern background to the Old Testament as well as educational philosophy units that covered the scientific method and data gathering. He is widely read in literature, philosophy, and modern history. The Nathanael Wayfarer series is underpinned by solid research into contemporary government surveillance, DNA manipulation, ancient Biblical pre-history and new techniques and recent discoveries in the field of palaeontology. Andrew is also a composer and has composed everything from symphonies to musicals and chamber music to rock albums. He uses his knowledge of New Testament Greek to set of parts of the New Testament to music. Previously Andrew has written a number of fantasy and alternate history novels under the rather strange and interesting steampunk nom de plum Robert Denethon.
