Writer and poet Rebecca McKeehan was born one dark and stormy June night in Blount County, Tennessee, a fitting foreshadowing of her writer's calling...and her sometimes over dramatic tendencies toward certain masculine stimulai. She is the eldest and only girl in a family of four, as well as the only creative, thus making her something of an odd duck. But they love her anyway.A proud, lifelong Navy brat, Rebecca has lived all over the USA, in places as diverse as San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Adak, Alaska. She has had the benefits of meeting people from all walks of life and experiencing things that most people can only imagine, all of which provides rich inspiration for her work. She dreams of one day visiting her ancestral homelands of Ireland and Great Britain, as well as taking at least one culinary tour of Italy, immediately followed by dessert in Vienna.An avowed animal lover and failed foster of numerous pets, she currently shares her life with two special needs Siamese cats who feel they are entitled to her uncompromising time and attention.
