During this time Rose had two children of her own. Eventually, her husband Tim began pastoring, and she joined him in ministry.

In 2021 Rose retired from a thirty-year career as a police and fire dispatcher during which time she had encountered a wide variety of life situations from critical to humorous. Today, Rose desires to see families strengthened.
